(More customer reviews)Would NOT recommended buying these ink cartridges. Was listed as "Full Set Color Laser Jet Genuine Toner Cartridge High Yield Combo for Brother HL-4040CN Laser Printer". Ink Cartridges turned out to be Brother cartridges, but they were refurbished and refills, NOT new. Also new "High Yield" cartridges should yield 5,000 pages for Black and 4,000 pages for color. All of these cartridges did NOT even yield half that, but they were NOT half price. Also I do most of my printing for my home office and use the draft print mode frequently on my printer, which you would expect would make them last even longer. Disappointed in product would not buy from here again.

Brother DR-110CL Drum Unit Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned the Brother DCP-9040CN for several years and about 10,000 prints. It has worked very well, and been a consistent performer, but over the last couple of months the print quality was slowly degrading. None of the maintenance that I did improved it at all, until replacing the drum with this one.
This $150 drum made it print like brand new again. I am very happy with it.
If you notice that I said that I have 10,000 prints, and are wondering why it didn't last the estimated 17,000 prints, I do not know for sure, but don't think it was the drums fault. Over the years, I have tried various unapproved techniques to get more life out of the toner cartridges. While those methods work, to extend the toner, I think that they wreak havoc on the drum. Either way, my first hand experience is that this drum, coupled with genuine Brother toner cartridges will renew your printer or multifunction.
