(More customer reviews)After about a month of use magenta developed a leak resulting in an 1/2" wide streak down the middle of the page. Not sure what to do about it, short of buying another one.
I got the whole set of 4, and all are doing well, but magenta.
One thing for sure, the air packages cushioning the cartridges are a work of art.

(More customer reviews)I have a Brothers HL4070 - when you replace the cartridge, you need a replacement that has clips - because this is designed to reset the toner levels. Without these clips, the printer will not work.
Cartridges I got from her does not have the clips - so, they are no good -and there is no way to manually reset the toner levels on this printer. If you buy the OEM toner, and install it, this will reset the levels - and then you can use the ones from her - but, you have now damaged the OEM resets as they are designed to break off once installed.

(More customer reviews)When it comes to consumable items such as ink, it is usually a good thing to try and save money. But once in a while you come across an item that is so inferior that, after you test it, the words that come to mind are highway robbery and, perhaps, fraud. This is one of those items.
The quality of the inks is so bad that I am ashamed to show people the printer output of the color images. Fortunately, I rarely have to do that. These cartridges produce colors that, at their most intense, do not even deserve the term "pastel." With lighter yellows and reds, you have to look close to see that there is indeed a color tone. The greens are, for all practical purposes, non-existent.
I think Amazon should remove this product from its site. I have purchased many, many things from Amazon, and, aside from the rare accident in transit, have never had to complain about anyone in the Amazon market place. This product is so bad that a scene from an old British movie comes to mind, where an audience is chastising a politician, yelling, "shame!, shame!". And shame to Amazon if it continues to allow its promotion.
Buy the manufacturer's inks. You'll sleep better at night and won't wonder if you've been swindled.

(More customer reviews)First off I had to manually reset the page count gear myself, One would think that this would be a step in the remanufacturing process.
The yellow is quite a bit lighter than stock. Still functional for day to day work, but I would not recommend for photographs or critical work.
They did arrive quickly and were packaged exceptionally well.

I was OK with the Brother Cartdriges but I'm really pissed off because they count the pages printed, not the actual toner left in the cartdrige. The printer will tell you it is out of toner when it could actually still be half full. And "resetting/refilling the cartdrige" is a pain. This SUCKS "BROTHER"! I will research this very carefully when I buy my next printer. And I will not buy another "BROTHER" cartdrige or printer as long as "BROTHER" maintaines this policy/function.
The Last "BROTHER" cartdriges I bought lasted me for almost 9 months... I will update this review if these cartdriges let me down.
