(More customer reviews)I have owned 2 Smart Parts digital picture frames for 4 years and 2.5 years. They run all day, every day. I used to turn them off at night, but it has been years since I bothered. I am very pleased with them. The ones I own are the SPX8 and the SPX7.
Yes, the company is just assembling components from other manufactures. However if you know the electronics industry, you know this is common. And they probably don't have much in the way of customer support. On the other hand, this is a $100.00 photo frame, just how much support is really needed.
The frame is easy to use and the picture quality is excellent. The frame has several "folders" that you can store photo albums in. That allows you to keep Christmas photos in one folder and vacation photos in another and switch between the two. I also use one of the folders to keep all the pictures in so I can see them all instead of just the photos from vacation, Christmas or whatever.
The auto-sizing software also works well. Yea, it takes a while to resize 500 photos. Be patient grasshopper. It is worth the wait.
Recently, the older of the 2 frames (the SPX8) stopped working. Since I have both, I tried plugging the power cord from the other one into the SPX8. Sure enough, the problem wasn't the frame, but the 12 volt power cord. It was harder than it needed to be to find a 9VDC 2A power adapter with the 5.5mm plug. I found one at [...]. Their part number is 1952847 and the cost was $[...]. I thought that was pretty reasonable for a frame that has been on for over 1200 consecutive days. I got the new power adapter last week and the frame is running non-stop again. The link to the exact part I ordered is below.

Others may have their complaints, but I have found these frames to be of good build quality and excellent picture quality. I would not hesitate ordering another Smart Parts frame.

(More customer reviews)I was very excited to find the MeeFrame on Amazon with one very favorable review, so I bought 3 for gifts for our parents for our wedding. I spent hours trying to get it to work properly with my internet connection before finding out that I had to manually install firmware updates that I had to download. Even after going through all that, the frame is unable to accept new pictures via email as easily as advertised. You have to go to your online account to receive new pictures before they will display on your linked frame, and even then, there's quite some lag time. The Kodak Pulse hooked up to my internet with minimal effort and promptly got all the updates it needed, and was up and running within minutes. PhotoShare 2.4-Inch Digital Photo Album Review

1. The poor reviews of the display quality
2. The small screen size
3. How the keys would damage the keychain over time
We decided to buy the digital photo album and it came within days of ordering. We loaded the pictures before giving it to my son's grandmother.
We are happy with the following:
1. Picture quality
2. The screen is larger
3. The price of the case was reasonable less than $10.
4. It is easy to load photos and simply to use, good features when giving it to people who are NOT very handy with electronics.
We spent $20 more to buy this item, it seems so reasonable compared to the keychain. What they don't specifically tell you is that this unit comes with NO memory. The extra $20 we spent over the keychain ends up being about $45 more when you have to factor in buying a memory stick. I was wondering why the keychain tells you how many picture it can hold and this one doesn't.
