(More customer reviews)The recordered has some nice features, like being able to select "folders" that you want to record the sessions into. However, the sound is recordered in a proprietary sony format. You need to download software to make Media Player play it. What makes things really annoying is there is no clean method by which you can save it into a "normal" format for sharing with other people. Why on earth didn't Sony use WAV or MP3 format is beyond my comprehension.
Recording quality is decent when you are within 6 feet of a person and have the recorder in plain view. However, if you are further away and want to keep the discrete (like in your pocket) the sound quality is terrible.
