(More customer reviews)I use these for audio book listening while riding a bike - so sound quality is not a major factor for me - but I think the quality from these is better than average. The Maxell earbuds I bought with these are much much worse.
I bought these along with a set of Maxell EB-95's a couple of weeks ago and I like these Audiology earbuds just fine. The shape of the bud is a little different in that it has a part that sticks out and into the ear canal a little way, but not so much as to isolate the listener from the surroundings. I use these while on the bike so that's important to me. They also have a small volume control near the "Y" in the wire which I find to be a little annoying. I think this might be useful to other users, but not for me.
I give only 4 stars because I am getting a feeling that the white earbud covers are discoloring as I use them - after 2 weeks they are not as white as I recall when new. I may discard these after a few more weeks if the covers become stained from handling and use.
One more point - the plug is a right-angle type. I wish more were that way - I like to put my zen nano player in the watch pocket found on most blue-jeans, and the jacks that point straight up wear out faster. The right-angle jack works great for me.
