(More customer reviews)I'm surprised by the negative reviews for the DYMO LabelMANAGER 300 & 200. I own the 200 for the office & am buying the 300 for use at home. PLEASE NOTE: If you like labeling (I've become addicted), there is a HUGE difference between Dymo & Brother - the ease of exposing the "sticky" side of the tape. Dymo tapes all have a split down the middle of the back which makes using them a BREEZE!!!! This is VERY IMPORTANT!! So important I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned. I even gave my Brother Touchpoint away because of this, my secretary & I found it too cumbersome to remove the label backing and I was tempted to throw it away rather than subject someone else to this lack of design.
The font selections are very easy and intuitive with these models, I'm surprised that others found them difficult. Also, a big bonus is the keyboard. They are large & very easy to use. With this purchase I'll own 3 labellers, all by DYMO, believe me, you can't beat their label tape design...

The Dymo LM200 is a complete and versatile labeling system designed for your office. It opens and closes like a notebook computer and resembles one, too. Open it to reveal the keyboard and label previewer. Snap it shut, and all the workings are protected.
A clear, 15-character LCD makes it easy to edit and preview your labels before you print them. The LM200 accepts 0.25-, 0.375-, 0.5-, and 0.75-inch tape. It lets you to print one or two lines, and you can even print your labels vertically, horizontally, or mirrored. Choose from seven print styles--normal, narrow, bold, vertical, italic, outline, and mirror--and three formats--underline, shade, and box. You can choose from a wide selection of symbols, and the device offers left, center, and right justification, plus incremental numbering.

Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100H Personal Label Maker Review

(More customer reviews)I have been desperately trying to get organized, and when I found this gizmo from heaven at a heavenly price, naturally I jumped on it. After a few weeks of labeling frenzy, much like one of my other fellow reviewers, the tops of my labels started fading, then the middles, and soon the entire text of all my labels, poof! disapparated! Yes! I am a Harry Potter fan, but not for my labels in invisible ink. Tried all of the suggestions from the website. Cleaning, changing batteries, labels, cartridges. No luck. Still shooting blanks. Of course no way to put in new ink cartridges and it seems like the ink ran out. So waiting to hear back from customer service. Will post back, when and if I do. Really sad-that my labeling frenzy has been thwarted!!

Magellan AN0204SWXXX 5310 AC Adaptor Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from Amazon as it had the same picture as Magellan, but it was a few dollars cheaper. Upon receiving the cord it appeared different from the picture, I called Amazon. No problem, they replaced it and arranged for the return of the item. The replacement arrived and it still does not look like the part in the picture. I am wondering if Amazon is not selling an older part, but using a picture of a new cord. The cord appears to work fine, I am disappointed that it is not the cord shown in the picture or on the Magellan web site. The Amazon cord does not have the little barrel type thing and the end that plugs into the Magellan is at a 45 degree angle.
I will say the service at Amazon is terrific.

DYMO Label Manager LM260P label Printer, Black /Gray (1754490) Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using a label machine since we opened our store three years ago. My label machine of choice back then was the Brother PT-1950 P-touch PC-Ready Labeler for Small Workgroups.
I was grateful to check out the Dymo Label Machine because there were some serious problems with my older machine. Here are the features I really like in the Dymo.
1) Rechargeable batteries included. No need to worry about the batteries, just plug in and keep charged, then when you are ready to go, grab the label machine and take it with you.
2) "Short" ends on the labels. The Brother left over an inch on either side of the labels, and wasted about 50% of the labels I made. Given the cost of the labels, this is a feature that is truly helpful.
3) The ability to easily save the label for re-use later.
4) The "sizing" feature on the Dymo. It is possible to designate a length of label, then ask the Dymo to print the label to that size. This is particularly nice for putting labels on Items I have canned.
5) The "fancy" outline capability on the labels (again, a nice feature for canned goods I enter in the fair). Nice counts.
6) The easy capability of making 2-line labels.
7) The ability to add symbols (Like $ % @) makes it very functional for a store or business.
8) The labels do come in clear, making the mirror image feature (a nice addition) practical for putting the label on the inside of a window or other glass and have it come through in the correct directions.
A couple of areas that disappointed me - small, but I wanted to point them out.
A) You cannot use the Dymo Label Manager while it is plugged in. The adapter it uses is intended ONLY for charging the label machine. So you really DO need to keep those batteries charged for when you are using it.
B) It will take me awhile to get used to the Alphabetic keyboard ...
C) The Brother PT had an "automatic cut" feature, this one must be manually cut by pushing the button hard enough to clip through the label.
