(More customer reviews)I was questioning whether I made the right decision to refill the cartridge with toner, as the manufacturer advised against it, although the printer was nearly out of warranty and I knew of other people who had done it. There is a (short) learning curve, and getting the plug out is a little tricky, and the toner is really messy, not unlike the pink snow in the old Dr. Seuss books, but not hard to clean up (with care should not be a problem). Overall, however, there are substantial savings, and I now know how to do it, and could do it much faster next time. I would definitely do it again. The printer worked flawlessly afterward, even the first copy.

I have always been reluctant to buy printers that consume a large quantity of ink, and I have never thought it will be so easy to change the course and save a lot of money through buying the Toner Refill Kits. First, it arrived ahead of time, and was easy to work with - as long as you follow the (very easy) instructions. Second, no messy ink. Even if your fingers catch some, you can easily wash them. Emptying the old toner and refilling it took no longer than 10-15 minutes. Moreover, my Brother HL-2410 now has additional ink refills (three bottles left), and I am not concerned about the number of pages I print anymore. I have also bought ink refills from the same company for my old - but great- hp Laserjet 6mp. I will write my review about it as soon as I make the hole in my hp toner cartridge and refill it. Thank you Amazon.com for connecting us to good companies such as this one!!

(More customer reviews)The cartridge I got was NOT the one in the photo, but I consider this a GOOD thing since the one I received more closely resembles the original Brother cartridge I had than the one in the photo does.
Dropped in and the printer (HL-2140) picked up on it right away, I did not need to turn off the printer, or do anything "funny" to get the printer working again. Opened the front bay, popped it in and it works. I cannot yet comment on the yield (claimed 2,600 pages) since I have printed a grand total of one page thus far. This product would get 5 stars if I could come back and edit this later after meeting or exceeding the stated yield, but since I don't _know_ how many pages this cartridge will run through, I can't give it 5 stars.
