It arrived in good order and could install it using the clear instructions.
At first it performed Ok. The 'Drum error' problems disappeared.
Soon however (a few hunderd pages) the mesages started to re appear.
I sought help with Laser Tek and at first was helped as expected.
The problem however was not solved and it became clear that the drum purchased did not perform as expected. It should be Ok for 12.000 pages but it did not live for more than 500.
At the moment that a possible replacement or another type of solution was suggested Laser Tek just stopped to react on my mails.
I tried different way's to contact them with different E-Mail addresses but no response anymore.
So please disregards all Laser Tek claims about Quality of their products and Customer satisfaction as they all are empty and without any value.
If they are not able to solve a problem with a very reasonable customer that perhaps would have cost them 10 dollar they will not be able or willing to solve your reasonable problem as well.
Better not to throw your money away to this vendor.

(More customer reviews)I always look for compatibles as originals are hugely expensiive. I tried this seller and the combination and work flawlessly, indistinguishable from brand.
Toner lasted less than expected but I was printing graphic scans, so heavy toner use, probably had I printed regular pages it would have lasted the usual N. of pages.
It did not come with instructions.
The drum works also. On my HL-2070N the "Drum" LED kept blinking after the replacement. I called the seller who was very helpful and walked me trough the steps of shutting down the LED (keep the toner door open and press and hold the "Go" button). Had there be instructions (or had I read the Brother manual (!!)) I would have saved a phone call.
Package arrived promptly, will buy again from seller.

(More customer reviews)I only gave this 3 stars because the listing description is very misleading. I assumed since the product description and the listing heading say that there is an estimated page count with the purchase of this "laser toner drum." A Laser Toner Drum indicates that there is toner included with the product. Unfortunately, this is only a toner drum cartridge. Brother laser printers mostly come with a 2-part system - a toner cartridge that processes the toner transfer to the paper, and the drum of powdered toner itself. This listing and description had me thinking (and rightly so) that I'd be getting a whole solution, not just one part. So I purchased it and was shocked and annoyed that there was no toner with my Laser Toner Drum purchase.
Here is where Greattoners (the seller) won me as a return customer: They responded to my email in under 24 hours, apologized profusely for the misleading listing and immediately sent me a toner drum free of charge. I rarely encounter a third party reseller who doesn't first try to lay the blame at the purchaser's feet and was more shocked at the incredible customer service and overall understanding than I was from the misleading product listing. Under any other circumstances I would have given this one star (or less if possible) but the Cartridge was in excellent shape and the toner I later received from them is also perfect saving me a TON of money over a Brother-branded refill. Because of the outstanding service, response, and perfect product, I can give it 3 stars without hesitation. If the listing had matched the product, it would have been 5 easily.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND CONTACT ANY SELLER BEFORE BUYING! According to Greattoners, this is a common error with many similar listings and it is due to Amazon's listing policies and categorization. If you own a Brother laser machine or another similar machine that uses a multiple piece toner mechanism, check before purchasing. It is worth the money you save, but it's also worth taking the time to make sure that the listing matches what will actually show up at your door. Kudos to Greattoners for an excellent product and a commitment to customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

I use the printer for my home business and so cannot send out invoices or proposals. Poor quality of the drum. The grinding sound stopped, then prints began to have smudges 5 days into the second toner. I opened the unit, and there is a lot of toner spillage. I contacted seller about the issues. They said they would send me replacement, but I never got one. I wasted 2 toners already. I'm going back to OEM. The money saved is wasted on toners.

(More customer reviews)I hate paying for replacement drums on our Brother MFC, but it is a necessary evil every few years.
In searching for the lowest price on the Brother drum, I ran across the Amazon re-manufactured version. Having had good results with the Amazon Basics Toner cartridge for the same machine, I was happy to give the drum unit a try.
The first unit I received had issues. On inspection, it appeared that the imaging unit had been replaced, but the brushes had not. Amazon's excellent customer service sent out another unit, and I returned the defective one at their cost (I LOVE Amazon customer service!)
The second unit is perfect, and works flawlessly. I'm happy Amazon is making these, and will use them again in the future.

Users should be aware that the drum counter needs to be reset for the blinking light to go off. With the front cover open, hold down on the reset button. All the lights will flash for a few seconds. Shut the cover and you should be all set.
I'll see you in another 12,000 pages. :)

(More customer reviews)The cartridge that this drum holds will refuse to let you print after a certain time, alleging that the toner life is ended.
This will fly in the face of the evidence of crisp pages, with evidently a decent amount of toner left. This is not like the old days, where the pages continue to print, and the print quality degrades as toner dissipates. Nope, this is a "We'll decide for you when you go get another cartridge" move by the manufacturer.Countermeasures against this ploy:
1. Shake cartridge, replace
2. After a while, #1 won't work. Then, open cover, Options, *00, close cover
2. After a while, #2 won't work. Then, get a black Sharpie and cover the laser window on the non-gear side of the cartridge.
Should get you closer to getting your money's worth.
