(More customer reviews)I purchased a 4 pack of the TN350 remanufactured toner and was very pleased at first. After about 1 month of use, dust shadows appeared on my copies. I replaced the drum, thinking that was the problem. Within two months, the problem reoccurred and I had to replace another drum. In the 4 years I've had my printer, when using genuine Brother toner, I had only replaced the drum once. I'd rather spend the extra money on genuine and get clean copies.

But the ones I received do not have the same color cap (black instead of pink) and they are not actual Brother cartridges which have been cleaned and refilled. The cartridge is thinner and not as sturdy. But the biggest difference is that it does not fit easily into the Brother drum ---- I had to forcefully push on it to get it to fit in place. I am afraid that by saving a few dollars on replacement toner, I may be causing stress and eventual damage to the much more expensive drum unit. Also, the printed page does not look as dark as with the Brother toner. Next time I will not look for a cheap knock-off.

(More customer reviews)The ink works great with my Brother 2040 printer, and there were very few issues. The only thing that I wished was offered were new ink plugs, but that was minor but in my book is the difference between four stars and five stars. It took no more than 20 minutes to do, and the instructions were pretty straight-forward - just don't wear nice clothes since toner will "drift" during the filling process. You really can't beat it for the price.
Oh, and don't forget to get the starter gear if you are getting this for an original toner cartridge if you want the Toner light to go away. (I got it, and it did a good job.)

It arrived in good order and could install it using the clear instructions.
At first it performed Ok. The 'Drum error' problems disappeared.
Soon however (a few hunderd pages) the mesages started to re appear.
I sought help with Laser Tek and at first was helped as expected.
The problem however was not solved and it became clear that the drum purchased did not perform as expected. It should be Ok for 12.000 pages but it did not live for more than 500.
At the moment that a possible replacement or another type of solution was suggested Laser Tek just stopped to react on my mails.
I tried different way's to contact them with different E-Mail addresses but no response anymore.
So please disregards all Laser Tek claims about Quality of their products and Customer satisfaction as they all are empty and without any value.
If they are not able to solve a problem with a very reasonable customer that perhaps would have cost them 10 dollar they will not be able or willing to solve your reasonable problem as well.
Better not to throw your money away to this vendor.

Turns out they sent a TN360 instead of the TN460 that was ordered to fit my MFC 8500 machine.
So now we sent an email, and play the waiting game.

The tab just needs to be installed all the way to the left. I thought reset meant the gears needed to be turned back, but that is not the case, the key just needs to be intalled in the correct position.

Using them caused our print quality to deteriorate and put large black shadows and linese on all our pages, making them illegible. I called Brother for tech support and was told our printer was not the problem. The problem was the fact that the toner was not a genuine Brother product and that Brother could not even help me troubleshoot. This was False Advertising on the part of "greattoners" and Amazon! Be aware that the toners you receive may not be the genuine products advertised.

I purchased this as a replacement for my 5 year old HL-1240, which was running perfectly with the old toner cartridge. The pages were printing grey, so I ordered this as a replacement.
Now the printer throws all kinds of errors and the toner cartridge needs to be removed and put back in for it to print.
I've learned my lesson: don't buy off-brand toner cartridges.

(More customer reviews)I bought these as they are half the price of the Brother brand toner cartridges and was able to get 2 for the price of 1. This was my first time purchasing toner that wasn't original Brother brand for my printer. After reading the other reviews here, I felt comfortable that I would get good print quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The pages come out with a vertical stripe down the center of the pages as well as some pages coming out with splotches of toner on them. Looks like I'll be going back to the original Brother brand toner cartridges as these off-brand do not provide the same quality printing. I was really hoping these would be as good as the original but they certainly aren't. If you don't mind stripes down your page then these would be fine. Unfortunately, I can't accept the inferior print quality.
