(More customer reviews)We’ve used this for about 2 months now and have been very satisfied. It was very easy to set up and we have had no problems with it. We have it set up with a "distinctive ring” feature so we can have both a voice number and a fax number on the same physical phone line. It has had no problem handling this and it has always been able to tell a fax call from a voice one. We also have an answering machine, PC Modem, cordless phone, and credit card terminal all hooked up to the same physical line as this fax machine and have no conflicts or problems. The footprint is very small which is nice if you’re running out of deskspace.
The print quality is OK. We use to have an inkjet based fax machine and it was better.
When your comparing prices on these machines, be sure to add the cost of a replacement cartridge to the purchase price of this one (...)The cartridge that comes with it is only good for about 20-30 pages. I get that much junk fax in a couple of weeks. If you decide to buy this one, get a spare cartridge also.
We use this in a home office set up and only get a few of faxes a day. If you have high volume fax needs, this may not be the machine for you. It’s slow and I’m not convinced that it would hold up very long under high-volume situations.
